Believe me, it was hard to choose the top five movies since there are SO MANY films that deserve to be mentioned here. However, these top 5 were chosen for a reason. These top films can be watched over and over again. Every time you watch them, you can notice an element that was previously ignored. Combined with the rich flow of events, such attribute gives you a feeling that you are watching a modified version of the same film each time.

Gladiator (Ridley Scott, 2000)
One of the best films about the ancient Roman Empire! The scenery and the action are really amazing! The performance by Joaquin Phoenix (Emperor Commodus) is truly one of a kind. I cannot think of an actor who would fit better for this role.

The Lord of the Rings (All three parts)
(Peter Jackson, 2001-2003)
The masterpiece! Excellent work! The movie is amazing due to its graphic effects and the production aspects. It is not easy to re-create an imaginary world, but Peter Jackson's team made it possible. Starting with cups and pans and ending with city landscapes, the world Jackson created feels and looks extremely realistic and ascinating.

Casino (Martin Scorsese, 1995)
Nominated for an Academy Award for the Best Picture, but not being able to knock down Braveheart (Mel Gibson, 1995), the film is one-of-a-kind masterpiece. None of the gangster movies are similar to this one. To make the long description short: WOW! WHAT A WAY TO TELL A STORY!
